A Visit From Mother Teresa

All week Eric and I were so excited for Thursday. Eric's mom was coming to visit us! This was the first visitor that we have had since we moved out here. It was like waiting for Christmas to come. We had a great time! The first day we took her to Eric's work and and then mine. Then we showed her our wonderfully quaint little town and all that Canonsburg has to offer. We then went into Pittsburgh to go shopping and got stuck in traffic. We took her to one our favorite restaurants, Church Brew Works! It is an old church that was turned into a brewery. On saturday, we went to a small town to find some Amish. There were some cute little shops and restaurants. There were some Amish around, it was cool seeing them in their buggies and outfits. We didn't take any pictures of them because they don't like that. The following day we went for brunch and then strolled around the cemetery by our house... that was not my idea. It was cool though, we found some graves as old as 1830 and some of the graves had pictures of people from the the later 1800's to the 1900 hundreds. Then Eric and I also heard of this lake by our house so we went out to find it. We got lucky and at first we thought it was a dumpy little pound but then we curved around the bend and found the better part of the lake. It was very cute! We also watched the Red Sox games every night until 12 a.m. So, by Sunday we were all tired from staying up so late. Thankfully, Teresa made Eric's favorite dish sunday night for dinner. It was nice having a piece of home here with us. I think it made us a little home sick. But thank you Teresa for coming out to spend time with us! We love you very much and miss you!

Hey Abby this is Heidi. I'm sure you don't remember but I met you last year at your wedding reception. J and I are living in Logan, not at cool as Pittsburgh. It looks so pretty there. Jason will graduate in Business Administration next December from USU then start the graduate program the next fall. So we'll be up here for about three more years. Our baby is due in 18 days! SO CRAZY but we're way excited!

Hey!!! How are you! Your little town looks so cute! I love little small towns! I know what it's like living away, and then having someone come visit...You think you're just fine until someone comes to visit or you go home for a bit then you lose it! But it will get better! It's good to hear from you! We should definitely keep in touch!
